The Mana Vault is excited to offer a Redemption Tournament at The Midwest Gaming Classic for players who drop from the main championship event! Get back in the action with another chance to compete for prizes in a fast-paced 3-round tournament with a Top 4 playoff.
Whether you're looking for redemption after a tough start or simply want more competitive cEDH action, this is your opportunity to turn things around.
- Date: Sunday, April 26th, 2026
- Start Time: 12:30 PM
- Location: The Baird Center, 400 W Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI (The Midwest Gaming Classic)
- Entry Fee: $20
- Player Cap: 64 players
- Registration: Register online or on-site at The Mana Vault booth at The Midwest Gaming Classic.
Tournament Structure
- Format: Competitive EDH (cEDH) at Competitive REL standards
- Swiss Rounds: 3 rounds
- Cut to Top: Top 4 playoff bracket
- Round Length: 80 minutes per round
- Time Procedure: When time is called, active player finishes their turn and game ends in a draw. 20-minute cutoff after time is called.
- Scoring: Wins = 5 points, Draws = 1 point
- No Byes: This event will not award byes
- Rules Enforcement: Competitive MTR/IPG Addendum for Commander Events
- Software: Topdeck.gg for pairings and turn order determination
Proxy Policy
The Mana Vault is proxy-friendly for cEDH events. All proxies must meet these requirements:
Indistinguishable from real cards when sleeved (thickness and appearance)
Accurate card colors (matching the MTG color wheel)
Complete and accurate card text, name, mana cost, and other game information
High-quality, legible prints (no handwritten proxies)

Prize Structure
All prize payouts are in store credit, distributed to Top 4 based on total entries:
1st Place: 40% of prize pool
2nd-4th Place: 20% of prize pool each
Prize pool calculated from total entry fees collected.
