This is considered a budget cedh tournament, we advise against bringing a precon or casual deck. For more information about deck restrictions, please look below.
5 rounds of swiss, win +5, draw +1, loss 0 points
Swiss round time: 70 minute rounds, 5-10 minutes in between rounds. After time, 10 minutes or active player finishes, otherwise automatic draw.
After the 5 rounds of swiss, we will cut to top (4, 10, 13, or 16 depending on number of people). The top cut games will have 120 minutes to play, if time is up, the player with the top points advances.
Standard commander banlist.
There will be a 400$ budget cap for decks (includes commander + lands), moxfield decklists are required. Use tcgplayer as the price checker and make sure to update the deck to cheapest printing in order to have the most budget.
There will be a ~$20 leniency on the cap due to shifting prices, however we expect people to try to stay below the 400$ limit.
No proxy limit, proxies may be paper as well as black and white. Proxies must be sleeved in front of cards (has to be indistinguishable from other cards in the deck).

1. Custom alter of City of Traitors by Art major Elms Wyatt + 4 play booster packs
2. Custom alter of Urza's Saga by Art major Elms Wyatt + 3 play booster packs
3. Booster Pack (set TBD) + 2 play booster packs
4. 1 play booster pack
Top 4 players will receive a custom alter drawn of their commander by non-art student Liam Worsley if time permits.
Play booster packs are a mix to choose from (in place order): 6 MH3, 2 Strixhaven, 1 Lost Caverns of Ixalan.
Please note that all alters drawn by Elms and Liam are non-tournament legal alters (i.e. alters are not drawn on top of the actual cards), they are just a flex to have.
This tournament will have a lot of newer players so being respectful of others is required.
