On March 21st Kraken's Keep Cards & Games will be hosting a 256 player CEDH tournament.
Event Schedule UPDATED Tournament play Begins at 10am Five rounds of Swiss play at 80 minutes with a cut to top 10 for the Semi Finals and the top two players receiving an automatic bi to the finals. No time limit on Semi Finals and Finals.
Venue: Admission: $110 Location: Comfort Inn South 8031 S Old Oregon Inlet Rd, Nags Head, NC 27959. Everyone is welcome to participate. Our hosts, Krakens Keep, will have food and drinks available on-site, with additional restaurant options close by.
Rules: 100% proxy-friendly. Capped at 256 players. Wins = 5 points, Draws = 1 point, Losses = 0 points. Uses the current REL Competitive Rules and Multiplayer Commander Banlist.
Proxy Policy: This event will be proxy friendly. You will need to use "test cards" that are in color and utilize recognizable art or MDFC placeholder cards that are clearly written on. MDFC cards will require full text, mana cost, card type(s) and name. If you choose to use MDFCs, you are limited to only 10 MDFC proxies. Additionally, you will need a print out of the cards to reference on the side. You will not be allowed to slip printed pieces of paper in front of a magic card.
Structure: 5 rounds of Swiss 80-minute rounds + 15 minutes When time is called, the active player has 15 minutes to finish their turn. If no winner is determined, the stack is exiled and the game ends in a draw.
