TOURNAMENT UPDATE: 08/21/2026
Hello all!
In addition to the promo packs and promo cards that we previously announced, top 16 will also receive prizing.
First place will receive a Gaea’s Cradle.
2-4th place will receive $125 store credit each.
5-16th will receive $60 store credit each.
Door prizes have been upgraded. We will still be giving out the revised Tundra, but in lieu of the Sun Titan, we have thrown in The One Ring. Door prizes will be given out from a wheel spin and will be given to two different people. Winner must be present at time of wheel spin for door prizes. The One Ring will be given after round 3, and the Tundra will be given after round 4.
This prizing is based on attendance and is subject to change.
Parking is available in the parking alley between our store and the hardware store, as well as on the other side of our store. Do not park along the back side of our store, this parking is reserved for employees only.
Parking is also available on 5th avenue, and parallel parking is available along state road 54 with a short walk to our shop. Village Inn also has a large parking lot, but we ask you to stay on the far side away from their building to allow for their customers to park closer to be respectful of their business.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SUBMIT YOUR DECKLIST THROUGH TOPDECK. THERE WILL BE RANDOM DECK CHECKS THROUGHOUT THIS EVENT.
To submit your decklist, go to “My Events” and scroll to the Gaea’s Cradle tournament. There should be a button that says “Submit Decklist.”
Unfortunately this event will be a bronze tier event, but we will have higher tier events in the near future.
TOURNAMENT UPDATE: 08/18/2026
Hello all!
We are reaching out to go over a few important things ahead of the tournament.
Firstly, we want to cover some tournament basics and rules.
There will be 5 rounds followed by a top 16 cut, then a top 4 cut.
At the end of each of the first 5 rounds, if a pod goes to time, there will be a 15 min overtime. (When the time ends, the current player has 15 mins to present a win. If they cannot, the pod will result in a draw.) There will be a 5-10 minute buffer in between each round.
At the time of round start, if a member of the pod is not present, they will have 5 minutes to get to their seat or they will receive a game loss.
Thorough deck checks will be conducted randomly throughout the tournament between rounds. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO SUBMIT YOUR DECKLIST ON TOPDECK.
Any other rules or questions will be covered and answered during the tournament check in. Check in will begin at 11:30 AM. If attendees are not present by 12:30 PM, they will be assumed absent, and will be taken off of the registration to allow for other waitlisted and walk-in players to join. To those that are no longer planning to attend, we kindly ask you to please resign from the tournament on topdeck to allow others to join from the waitlist.
We kindly ask for any drinks you bring with you to please be closed top to prevent spills. We will have drinks available for purchase in store.
There will be close to 100 people in the building at any given time, we highly encourage you to pack lightly to keep your belongings on you. We are not responsible for your belongings, so please act responsibly with them.
There will be portable toilets on site for this event.
Secondly, we want to cover prizing. As you know, first place will receive a Gaea's Cradle. Top 4 will also be receiving the Avatar: The Last Airbender Command Tower Promos. Places 5-8 will receive a Cowboy Bebop Ossification Promo, and 9-16 will have their choice of an Into the Flood Maw promo, or a TMNT Lightning Bolt borderless promo.
Top 30 will receive Foil Promo packs, and the other 50 players will receive regular promo packs. Promo packs will be given out after round 5.
We are currently looking to upgrade this tournament to Silver tier. We are waiting to hear back from topdeck right now. It is highly likely that it will be, but until further notice this event is Bronze tier.
Finally, conduct and penalty progression:
Warnings will be issued for minor, unintentional rules or procedural mistakes.
Game losses will be issued for repeated minor infractions, significant decklist errors, or major procedural failures compromising a match.
Disqualifications will be issued for intentional cheating, bribery, collusion, theft, or aggressive behavior.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose behavior is not appropriate for our store.
We will be sending a follow-up email out in regards to parking. We are trying to work with other local businesses to secure more parking for this event. We highly recommend arriving early to ensure you are able to find parking, or that you are able to park and walk a short distance with enough time to get here before the tournament begins if necessary.
