About this event

We are having a 120-player cap, $50 entry, scaling prize tournament on October 18th in Pueblo, Colorado, at the Eagle Ridge Convention Center, 805 Eagleridge Blvd Suite 170, Pueblo, CO, 81008. This tournament will consist of four 80-minute Swiss rounds, with a cut to the top 16 and two untimed rounds for top 16 and top 4. The top four will be able to draft prize cards from one of the below tiers of prizing based on attendance. The player in first place will get the first pick of their card with the remaining 3 players drafting their prizes based on Swiss standings.

The event will be run using Swiss pairings provided by Command Tower. Rounds will have a time limit of 80 minutes. After this time limit, the active player will be allowed to finish their turn. If, by the end of that turn, there is still no winner determined, the table will end in a draw. Winning players will be awarded 5 points, and any players at a drawn table will receive 1 point each. Registration will begin at 9:00 am with a player meeting at 9:45 am and round 1 will begin promptly at 10:00 am. There will be a 30 minute break after round 3 for lunch and round 4 will begin promptly afterwards.

This event will follow the official commander banlist and will be using the Eminence Comp REL MTG/IPG addendum for Commander events as well as the Official WOTC provided MTR/IPG. We are allowing proxies for this event as long as your proxies are indistinguishable in thickness and backing from the rest of your deck, if using the mdfc style proxies, please ensure that all relevant information is present and legible on the card and up to date oracle text is available for clarification. If using paper slips in front of cards as proxies the entire deck must consist of paper slips in front of cards to maintain consistency.

Decklists will be required for this event and decklists must be registered before 9:00 am the day of the tournament at risk of penalty. If unable to provide a digital decklist a written decklist with printings is an acceptable substitute but not preferred. All decks are subject to random deck checks throughout the duration of the tournament.
