Tournament Mode

  • Free for All, 4 players to a pod
  • 5 preliminary rounds, cutoff to top 4
  • 75 minutes per round
  • REL: Competitive

Scoring System:

  1. Each Players begins the tournament with 1000 points.
  2. At the beginning of each round, players wager 7% percentage of their current points.
  3. Losers lose their wager. Winners will gain all the points wagered in the pod.
  4. In event of a draw, all players lose their wagered points.

Registration

  1. Register on topdeck.gg. Deck registration is required. Players are advised to register early, deck submission can be done any time before the closing date.
  2. Payment to be made to Maybank 5640 9855 8000 to Quantum Nexus PLT.
  3. Please send entry fee payment details to the Quantum Nexus Facebook page with full name, email and phone number. Please ensure your email matches your topdeck.gg account and indicate the event as 'Highlander 10K'.
  4. Registration closing date is at 12noon on 2/10/26.
  5. Players are expected to be at the event site at 930am for a player briefing; and are advised to have breakfast prior to the event start.

House Rules:

  1. "Taking game actions that resolves immediately such as mana abilities does not count as an action and priority will continue to be passed to the next player as though it was not activated, if the player with priority does not take any other additional game actions." This is an exception to rule 117.4 in the Comprehensive Rules specific to this tournament only. In other words: if it doesnt use the stack, priority doesnt reset. This rule effectively bans priority bullying.
  2. Top 16 will not be eligible for lucky draw prizes.
  3. A player may not have more than 1 tournament bye going into the tournament.
