Structure – Double-Elimination, 6 Rounds
Round 1 – All 64 competitors
Round 2 – All 64 competitors
Round 3 – All competitors at 1-1 or better (max 48) Only 2-0 players featured on MTGO broadcast
Round 4 – All competitors at 2-1 or 3-0 (max 32) Only 3-0 players featured on MTGO broadcast
Round 5 – All competitors at 3-1 or 4-0 (max 20) All competitors can be featured on MTGO broadcast
Round 6 – All competitors at 4-1 or 5-0 (max 12) All competitors can be featured on MTGO broadcast
Prizing
6-0 Finish - $1,250 USD
5-1 Finish - $600 USD $750 instead if a player starts 5-0 and then loses Round 6
4-2 Finish – 500 Play Points & 50 Treasure Chests
Broadcast information
Starting in round 3, sets will be selected as "featured matches". Players in these matches will be required to share their gameplay through discord screenshare in the MTGO Creator Showdown Discord server. It is possible that the tournament administration will delay the start of your match to allow the broadcast team to follow it completely.
