About this event

This 16-player Limited Infinity (Type 4) Cube Qualifier is a draft challenge that runs alongside our July Store Qualifier and is co-hosted with LGS Partner TBD.

  • Players register, pay, and check round 1 pairings via Proxy Friendly topdeck.gg event page.
  • Round 1 seating determines each draft pod and their game 1 turn orders.
  • Players report game results to the head judge on-site.

This Cube Qualifier will draft the Proxy Friendly Core Set

Cube Qualifier Details:

  • Cap: 16-player event
  • Entry: $25 via TopDeck
  • Player Meeting: 5pm CST
  • Registration: TopDeck only
  • Draft: Timed picks → 3× 15-card packs
  • Games: 30 mins each → seat 1 randomized after game 1
  • Overtime: "Sudden Death" takes effect (definition below)
  • Main Deck: Players play with a minimum 40/45 drafted cards
  • Sideboard: Players may change cards between games
  • Round 1: 4-player pods → first to 2 wins
  • Round 2: Round 1 winners → final table
  • Final Table: Top 4 players draft new decks → first to 2 wins
  • Judging: 1 head judge

Sudden Death

  • Sudden Death is an emblem that starts each game in play.
  1. No Time — When time in a game expires, this emblem takes effect after the current turn ends.
  2. No Escape — Each player loses 5 life during each player’s untap step. If this effect would bring a life total to 0 or less, set that life total to 1 instead.
  3. No Mercy — At the beginning of each end step, players who didn’t make a game action loses 1 life. If this kills each player, this only effects the active player instead.
  4. No Choice — At the beginning of each cleanup step, if a single player has the highest life, that player wins the game.

  • 1-round bye to Circuit Finale (you start the tournament 1-0-0 with 5 points)

  • 1st Place takes home the Limited Infinity Cube used during this tournament!

2nd → 4th Place (each)
