Artist, Vendors and More:

We’re excited to announce the presence of rk post (https://www.rkpost.net/), one of the most iconic Magic: The Gathering artists! rk post has contributed artwork to countless MTG cards and will have tokens, prints, playmats, and more available for purchase. He will also be signing and altering cards—don’t miss this opportunity to meet him!

Mitja’s and Alban’s SkyGuild, a familiar name in Premodern and Old School events across Europe, will be offering a fantastic selection of Premodern and Old School cards. They will also accept newer cards for trade.

The Finnish store Kauppiasfopan ja Nekronin Basaari will feature an extensive range of MTG cards, from Old School 93/94 and Premodern to the latest Standard sets. They accept trades for all MTG cards and will also purchase cards.

Venue will have a bar that has selection of different drinks available.

How to get to Tampere?

The easiest way is fly to Helsinki and buy a train ticket from Helsinki Airport to Tampere either in advance online (https://www.vr.fi/en) or from an ticket vending machine at the airport railway station. There will be one transfer in Tikkurila railway station. Tickets usually costs around 10-20 euros at least one week in advance or 30-40 euros when bought from the station.

You can also fly directly to Tampere (Pirkkala) but the connections from large hubs are not that great and you most likely need transfer somewhere like Riga. Flying to Helsinki and taking the train is highly recommended.

Accommodation:

There are plenty of hotels and some hostels in Tampere and you should book a room in advance as there will be an anime convention happening during the same weekend. You can find accommodation via booking sites, Airbnb or directly from hotel websites. Hotels usually have better prices through their own websites so you should check them out. Tournament venue is right in the city center (about 500 meters from the town square) so all the hotels in the city center are basically within a walking distance. You can also use trams, busses, taxis or uber.
