Each round has a duration of 80 minutes.
Pod Sizes
4 player pods In cases where this isn't possible, pods may consist of a minimum of 3 players to avoid multiple byes. However, no more than one pod of 3 players should be formed per round, ensuring that only 2 or fewer byes are given due to player count each round.
Rules Enforcement Level (REL)
Take-backs are NOT allowed: missed plays, tapping lands incorrectly, or playing the wrong spell, selecting wrong targets; they are not able to be taken back unless physically unable to cast the spell.
For instance, if Drannith Magistrate is on the battlefield and you attempt to cast your commander from the command zone, this action is not permissible. Therefore, the attempted casting will be reversed, and any mana expended will be untapped.
Once anything is tapped and the hand is removed, it cannot be undone.
When a land produces multiple colors, announce which color of land you are producing.
These events are not run at full competitive (COMP) level due to the difficulty of tracking certain rule interactions in a 4-player game.
Normal rulings will be treated as COMP.
Spectators are not allowed to provide any information about cards or interactions, even if they were previously part of the pod but are no longer in the game.
If a player needs clarification on a card, only a judge or TO can provide the updated Oracle text for the most recent printing, as long as the player can describe the card or provide its name.
Players are not permitted to view Oracle Rulings, which is different from the Oracle Text, on cards, as this could offer strategic advantages beyond what is printed on the card.
Advice or help from other players within the pod is allowed within the rules of the game.
Trying to change the outcome of a game through anything outside of the game (e.g., offering bribes) is strictly prohibited. This means saying something like “I will concede for X” or “If you do this I will give you X”.
Electronic devices to look up anything in the game is prohibited. You can use them for keeping track of life but not for any other use.
Graveyard order matters; you can not change the order of any graveyard.
Conceding a game can only happen at sorcery speed. If you do it any other time you will be dropped from the event and can not reenter with out approval from the TO or head judge. MTRA 2.5
Active player can ask once a spell is on the stack to stop table talk and move on with the game, failure to comply can result in a Unsporting Minor. MTRA 4.1
Once a player has determined targets for a spell they can not be undone. MTRA 4.8
