March Win-A-Dual (Tundra) cEDH - Tees Valley MTG

Win-A-Dual cEDH event organised by Tees Valley MTG - a playtest-friendly event

Date and Time: Saturday 22nd March 2025 - 10:30AM Registration - 11:00AM start

Rules

We will be using the cEDH UK Rules and Guidelines along with the following rules:

• Playtest cards allowed (full colour and recognisable art)
• 80 minute rounds (without turns)
• 4 rounds of Swiss with top 10 cut
• Please post decklist links on TopDeck after registration (required)
• Any extra players over a multiple of 4 will be given byes; in the event of 3 extra players there will be one pod of 3 players
• In the event of a player(s) dropping midway through the tournament, a pod of 3 players will be made for the remaining rounds or byes given if a pod of 3 cannot be made

These rules are subject to change before the event and any changes will be made clear during event announcements.

Prizing

• The winner will receive an English Revised Tundra
• The remaining prize pot will be shared equally between 2nd, 3rd and 4th in store credit for hosting LGS Gathering Point Games (dependent on player count)
• Dependent on player count, players who reach the top 10 cut but miss out on the top 4 will receive a prize (specific prizes to be confirmed)
• Dependent on player count, players outside of the top 4 cut will be included in a raffle to win other prizes (specific prizes (singles, boosters, etc.) to be confirmed)
• All prizing will scale depending on player count - ALL entry fees to be used towards prizing

All timings are approximate as rounds may start earlier if all previous games are completed

• 10:30 - Registration
• 11:00 - Round 1 Swiss
• 12:30 - Lunch
• 13:00 - Round 2 Swiss
• 14:30 - Round 3 Swiss
• 16:00 - Round 4 Swiss
• 17:30 - Top 10
• 19:30 - Top 4

Venue Information

Parking

Free parking is available outside the venue. However, please check any parking restrictions that may be in force.

Public Transport

The nearest train station to the venue is Darlington Train Station.

Darlington - bus number 2 and 6B are a 10 minute walk away from the venue.

Stockton - bus number 6B is a 10 minute walk away from the venue.

Middlesbrough - there are no direct buses to the venue. A connecting service to one of the above destinations would need to be completed first.

Hartlepool - there are no direct buses to the venue. A connecting service to one of the above destinations would need to be completed first.

If travelling from Hartlepool, please join the Tees Valley MTG Discord server: numerous members of the community have offered to give lifts to the venue.

Food and Drink

The venue does not allow outside food and drinks. Hot food, drinks and snacks are available from Gathering Point.

There is a large Morrisons and McDonald's approximately 10 minute walk away.
