MTG South Africa proudly presents the Modern Showdown Series – an ongoing showcase of the country’s most competitive Magic: The Gathering format. Whether you’ve been grinding Modern for years or are just stepping into the format, this is where the love of the game meets the challenge of true competition. Some will be aiming for that top finish, others chasing prizes, and some simply enjoying the chance to face skilled opponents - all under the banner of a Competitive REL event with judge support, a top-heavy prize pool, and the added excitement of our now almost-famous prize wheel.
Register via the blue registration button, As well as submit your deck list and payment before 18th of October. Please note that on the day registration and Payment will be Charged Extra, because it may effect the running of the day and push schedules back. (The tournament will start at 10:00, please make sure to be on time.)
Date: 18th of October Format: Modern Entrance: R400 Per Person before the 18th, payment on the day charged at R450 for making the TO do admin.
Prizes: The better the turnout, the bigger the rewards. Expect Final Fantasy, MH 3 and other boosters, a top 8 prize pool worth fighting for, and our Spicy Prize Wheel packed with premium goodies – Shock-Lands, Fetch-Lands, Esper Sentinel, and more.
