Top 4 prizing will be store vouchers for LGS Geek Retreat Sunderland - located conveniently inside Laser Quest Sunderland. Prizing will be announced before the third round of Swiss - prizing will scale depending on player count. All entry fees, after the £10 food voucher is deducted, store vouchers for top 7/10/13/16 (amount dependent on player count - usually equal to cost of entry), a small administrative cost (£9 - see below) and cost to compensate the head judge (£1 per player - see below), to be used as prizing for the top 4.

Parking is available close to the venue - various street parking is available and free on Sundays. Alternatively, Station Car Park (Holmeside, Sunderland, SR1 3JE) is a flat £3 for all day parking on Sundays.
The nearest train station, which is also a metro station, to the venue is Sunderland Station, which is a 3-5 minute walk away from the venue.
The nearest bus station to the venue is Sunderland Interchange, which is a 5-10 minute walk away from the venue.
The venue does not allow outside food and drinks.
This venue has a fully stocked bar, with hot and cold drinks, and a professional kitchen offering a variety of hot meals.
For almost two years, we’ve been organising cEDH events in the North East and not taken any cut of the entry fees; all entry fees have always been used as prizing for the hosting LGS. However, this is unsustainable: every event, we lose money from administrative costs, such as TopDeck subscription, etc. Moreover, our judge team also sacrifice their time to ensure the events run smoothly and we feel, and I’m sure you would agree, they should be compensated. Please be aware of the following costs that will be taken from the overall prize pool as store credit for the hosting LGS to ensure they are still fully supported:
