This event includes an additional partnership with Tap for Hope and The Quest for a cause 10k charity event they are putting on May 17th in Portland. The top two players from this event will qualify for free entry to The Quest! ($110 value)
We will also be collecting donations in the form of cards or cash to be passed on to them. You can find more information about The Quest or how you can help support their cause here!

All entries go to prize pool, paid out to the top 4 as store credit.

Rules

Deck Lists required.

Event Structure will follow the official Commander Ban list and the TopDeck Championship Series Standardized Ruleset, with limited adjustments at the head judge's discretion.

Swiss Rounds

• 4 Rounds
• 80 minute length
• No turns after time is called, active player will have 20min to finish their turn¹. If no winner has been determined, the round will be considered a draw.
• Cut to top 10 at the conclusion of the Swiss.
• The top cut and swiss round numbers may be adjusted based on attendance.

Semifinals and Finals

• 3 hour time limit.
• No turns after time is called, active player will have 20mins to finish their turn¹.
• If no winner has been determined, the player with the highest placement in the swiss will be considered the winner.
• Finals will immediately follow semifinals.
• The extra 20mins start from when time is called, regardless of if, or how long it takes to get to the extra turn provided.

¹If the current phase is an Endstep, and the player currently taking game actions is not the active player there will be one additional turn.

This event will be proxy friendly!

• You will need to use “test cards” that are in color and use official printed text or oracle text.
• Thickness must be consistent so as not to have marked cards. This is especially important if part of the deck is proxy.
• You may use MDFC placeholder cards that are clearly written on. MDFC cards will require full text, mana cost, card type(s) and name.
• If you choose to use MDFCs, you are limited to only 10 MDFC proxies. Additionally, you will need a print out of the cards to reference on the side.
• You will NOT be allowed to slip printed pieces of paper in front of a magic card.
