The Bay Area's largest cEDH tournament, sponsored by Doot Loot, Merlion Games, and EDHTop16!
Our tournament will take place at Dave & Busters Daly City! [130 Serramonte Center, Daly City, CA 94015, USA]
This event will be $120 entry.
This event is completely proxy friendly!! Paper slips in front of cards are NOT allowed [ FULL PROXY POLICY AT BOTTOM OF PAGE ]
We are Honored to be joined by Goldsabertooth, who will be designing our very own event mat!
In addition to playmats being sold, we will have Merlion Games vending some curated inventory, and some doot loot!
Purchasing entry to the event comes with access to our own Lunch Buffet that will run for a limited duration during the tournament in the event space.
The buffet will consist of;

Players will also have the D&B food and drink menu available to them to order at their own expense.
The tournament will start at 8:00 AM, on Saturday, January 24th, 2026
The tournament will be capped at 180 players.
After time is called, active player will finish their turn, and if there is no winner or 20 minutes have passed, the round will be a draw.
There will be Five swiss rounds of 80 minutes with a cut to Top 16
TOP 16 - 2 Hour Maximum, if no winner is decided by end of round, the winner will be the highest alive seat in the pod.
TOP 4 - 3 Hours Maximum, if no winner is decided by end of round, the winner will be the highest alive seat in the pod.
1st - 4th Place:
2 Round Draft pick of 8 Premier cards provided by Doot Loot and Merlion Games, starting from highest seed.
In addition to the above cards, Top 4 and the Winner will have specialized event mats denoting placement!
5th - 16th Place:
2 Round Draft pick of 24 Premier cards provided by Doot Loot and Merlion Games, starting from highest seed.

More prizing will be updated closer to the event, but we did want to award specific players with prizes to highlight their glory. Prizes may vary from cards, to merchandise, or event gift certificates.

We plan to end around 7:30 PM, Dave and Busters has a hard cut off of 8PM.
Altered Cards: Artistic modifications may not obstruct or change the mana cost or name of the card. Artistic modifications may not change the card's art to become the art of another Magic the Gathering Card. Artistic modifications may NOT contain substantial strategic advice, disparaging remarks, or contain offensive images.
Proxied Cards: All Proxied cards must utilize official WOTC Art, with name and mana cost easily legible. "Paper Slip" proxies are not allowed at this event, it is expected any proxied cards would be consistent in size, thickness, and feel of a Magic Card.
WOTC MDFC Placeholder Cards: Players may utilize blank WOTC MDFC Placeholder Cards in lieu of a proxy or a real card. If a player wishes to utilize WOTC MDFC Placeholder Cards, the name, mana costs, type, power/toughness, and any other oracle text (or as much that can reasonably fit), must be written legibly.
