Point Structure: Win = 5 points, Loss = 0 points, Draw = 1 point
Proxy Policy: Best in the West is 100% proxy-friendly. At the absolute minimum proxies must be colour-printed with official Wizards of the Coast MTG art (ie. art found on https://scryfall.com/). Please make sure cards are uniform in thickness. If using a mixture of real cards and paper slips, please double sleeve the real cards.
Decklist: Decklists will be required to participate in Best in the West. Decklists must be submitted via TopDeck by 10:00am the morning of the event.
Prizing will be cash and subject to player attendance. If the tournament hits capacity (40 players):
Winner - $600
Rest of Finals Pod - $150 each
Rest of Top 10 - $50 each
Best in the West is entirely funded by registration fees. Registration fees will go to judge wages, rent, prizing and Stripe/service fees. Registration fees will be refundable up to one week before the event (10:00am 14 November 2026) to minimise any disruptions.

10:15am - Player Meeting
10:30am - Round 1 (80 mins + 10 mins overtime)
12:00pm - Round 2 (80 mins + 10 mins overtime)
1:30pm - Round 3 (80 mins + 10 mins overtime)
3:00pm - Round 4 (80 mins + 10 mins overtime)
4:30pm - Top 10 (2 hour cap)
6:30pm - Finals
