We at Bastion Games are excited to announce our next quarterly event Topdeck Championship series: The Sovereign of Spring!
This event will feature cEDH and Canadian Highlander events using Topdeck. There will also be sanctioned Standard RCQ+, and Pokemon Standard events at the venue as well!
WHERE: The event will be held at the Rosedale Ballroom at the Coast Hotel Chilliwack (45920 First Ave, Chilliwack, BC V2P 7K1)
WHEN: SATURDAY March 7th. Doors open at 9am,
cEDH Start time: 11:30am
Canadian Highlander Start time: 11:45am
ENTRY FEE:

This venue is close enough to Bastion Games that instead of setting up a huge vendor table, our website will be available to purchase items off of, and an employee will bring it to the venue for you. RULES: Canadian Highlander
This event will follow all the regular rules for Canadian Highlander.
This event requires a topdeck.gg account, so if you don't have one, please head over to https://topdeck.gg/ and create one!
Being run through Topdeck, this event is a playtest card friendly event!
SCHEDULE: Doors open at 9am, first round starts at 11:45am
PRIZING:
Less than 24 participants: Cut to top 8, prizes for top 4. More than 24 participants: Cut to top 8, prizing for top 8.
We are doing a simple transparent prizing system: $45 from each entry goes directly into the prize pool, with $5 per ticket going to venue and judge costs.
Approximate prizing at the following participation:
Prizing for Top 4:
1st: 40%
2nd: 30%
3-4th: 15% each
Prizing for Top 8: 1st: 30% 2nd: 20% 3-4th: 15% each 5-8th: 5% each

40 Participants: 1st: Trophy, $1000 2-4th: $500 each
50 Participants: 1st: Trophy, $1200 2-4th: $600 each
60 participants: 1st: Trophy, $1500 2-4th: $750 each
80 participants: 1st: Trophy, $1800 2-4th: $900 each 5-16th: $100 each
100 participants: 1st: Trophy, $2500 2-4th: $1200 each 5-16th: $150 each

We will have reserved list cards on hand for participants to purchase using their winnings. If you'd rather swing by the store (2-3 min drive away) to use your winnings, you're more than welcome too as well!
