Jene's MTG, Palms Off Gaming and Comics Plus present: “Battle of the Shires”, a $2.5k+ CEDH event right in the heart of Brisbane!

Tickets available here: https://jenesmtg.com.au/products/brisbane-cedh-2-5k-battle-of-the-shires-ticket Details are as follows: Location: Comics Plus: Annerley Arcade, 18/478 Ipswich Rd, Annerley QLD 4103 Date: August 24th 2024 (Saturday) Entry: $45 per player Organisation: 4x 85min Swisse rounds followed by a cut to Top 16 (single elimination, untimed). This event is at the Competitive Rules Enforcement Level. A printed/written decklist or deck link (e.g. Moxfield) is required. Linked lists are preferred. Format: Commander (CEDH) Registration: 8:30am Player Huddle: 8:55am Starts: 9:05am sharp

Reserved List proxies are allowable under the following conditions:

1. Proxies are allowed for Reserved List cards only. The Reserved List can be located here: https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Reserved_List
2. To maintain gameplay integrity, proxies must be in full colour, maintain original size, be printed clearly and must be in the original style of an official printed Magic: The Gathering card (e.g. no fan-made proxies). Proxies should be printed on standard thickness paper and sleeved in front of an MTG card with a normal MTG card back. We recommend using a professional printing service (e.g. Officeworks). Additional player recommendations: • If you’re unsure of your proxy passing a deck check, please check with the judge the morning of. • If you have any alters, you will need them to be checked by the judge in advance, the morning of as well. • Lastly, we recommend replacing older sleeves before the event and breaking them in. Nothing worse than having a damaged sleeve and having it come up as a marked card. Please also note: Finalists are expected to play the final match to determine a winner (regardless of whether prizing is split). Additional prizes will be added according to attendance on the day: · 31-40 players: All the above prizes + additional $100 credit for 1st place, $50ea cash for 2nd-4th · 41-50 players: All the above prizes including what’s listed for 31-40, with the addition of $100 cash for 1stplace, $50ea credit for 2nd-4th and $10 per player credit for 5th-16th · 51+ players: Double entry credit for all players! Please note the advertised $2.5k+ prize pool is based on an attendance of 51 or more players, the prize pool ranges from $1-$2.5k+ according to numbers. This event is strictly capped at 64 players.
