A New Bracket Page, Past Events, and a Metagame for Every Format

Today we're launching three things: a bracket page rebuilt from scratch, Past Events, and Metagame pages for each format.

Look up an event in Past Events and open its bracket page to see who won and what they played. To see how a deck does across every event in its format, open the format under Metagame. Each deck there has its own page, with every finish and a link to each decklist.

The bracket page, rebuilt

When an event ends, its bracket page now opens on Metagame. Top cut leads with the winner and their deck, then every stage of the cut with each player's deck art. The next tab lists every deck in the field (Commanders, Legends, or Archetypes, depending on the game) with players, metagame share, win rate, record, top cut rate, and best finish. Open a row to see everyone who played it and their lists. Cards shows the most-played cards and how they're played ("3.0 in 37% of decks"), and each card links to TCGplayer.

Top cuts now show as a bracket. On a cut stage, Pairings opens on Bracket: one column per round, winners highlighted, and lines to the next match. It works for single elimination, pod cuts, and double elimination, where the winners bracket sits above the losers bracket. Switch to Tables for the table view. On a phone, swipe through it a round at a time.

Your match

If you're playing in the event, the page opens on Your match, with your table, your opponent, the round clock, and your rank and record. You can report your result there. Count your games with + and −, and the button spells out what you're about to send, like "Report 2–1 win", so you see the result before it goes in. Pods get I won and Report draw. If your opponent reports first, you confirm or dispute it.

Call judge and Drop are at the top of your match. If the organizer has chat turned on, Table chat lets you message your table, and if Show Decks is on, you can open your opponents' decklists from the same page. It works the same way as the TopDeck app.

In Pairings you can search for any player, and your own table is highlighted. Standings has a Deck button for each player once decks are public. White-label hubs get the new page too, in their own colors.

Past Events

Until now, events dropped off TopDeck's listings once they ended. Past Events lists them. It's under Events in the menu, and the home page and each game's hub link to it.

The top of the page shows the biggest recent events with their winners and decks. Below that is every finished event, newest first. Search by event name, winner, or deck, and filter by game, format, number of players, and date. Click an event to open its bracket page.

A metagame for every format

Metagame has its own menu now, listing every format that has a page, grouped by game. Each format page ranks its decks across every TopDeck event in that format: share of decks, number of decks, record, win rate (pod win rate for Commander), and top cut rate. Narrow it by date (past month, 3 months, 6 months, or year), event size, and region, or look at top cut decks only.

Click any deck to open its page: where it ranks, its record and win rate, how often it makes top cut, and how many events it's won. Below that is every finish, with the player, record, event, and a link to the decklist. Filter to top cut finishes or wins to see the lists that did best.

Format and deck pages also have Most played cards, with how many decks run each card. Format pages add Recent winners, the latest event winners and their decks.

Formats with a page today: EDH, Casual EDH, Pauper EDH, Legacy, Modern, Pauper, Premodern, and Vintage for Magic, Riftbound Constructed, Edison and Goat for Yu-Gi-Oh, and CookieRun: Braverse. A format gets a page once enough of its decks are named, so more will follow as players fill in the Archetype field.

For organizers

There's nothing to set up. Your finished events show up in Past Events and count toward their format's metagame, and decks are named the same way as the Metagame tab: by commander, by Legend, automatically for 60-card Magic, and from the Archetype field for every other game. Decklists still go public when the event ends, or sooner if you've turned on Show Decks. Leagues, cancelled events, and events with hidden standings are left out of Past Events and the metagame pages.
