Join us at Video Game Galaxy (233 S 21st St, Newark, OH 43055) for a casual Vintage Cube draft! For balancing purposes, this will be a team draft. Teams will be randomly generated from the players present, with player experience levels taken into account; you don't need to bring your own teammates. Not familiar with Vintage Cube or team drafts? No changes will be made to the Vintage Cube to be used within 3 days of the event.
Preregistration is recommended for this event to ensure you get a seat. We respectfully ask that you don’t preregister unless you genuinely intend to play, and if you learn after preregistering that you can’t play, please drop from the event. If the event is full, we highly recommend joining the waitlist, as there is a good chance at least some people on the waitlist will make it in. The draft will only launch with exactly 6, 8, or 10 players. If we have 7 or 9 players, the host will drop from the event to ensure we have an even number.

Cube drafts are like normal booster drafts, with the exception that the "boosters" you use are randomly pulled from a curated collection of cards, known as the Cube. Cards are returned to the Cube at the end of the event. Vintage Cube takes this to the next level by including many of Magic's most powerful cards in that collection. Black Lotus, Ancestral Recall, Time Walk, and more are all on the table!
Team drafts function similarly to regular drafts, but you win and lose as a team. Each individual match win counts towards your team's score, and the team with the most points at the end wins! Of course, since this is a casual event, winning and losing is just for bragging rights!
