We are kicking off the weekend with a 4-round cEDH Tournament on Thursday, March 26th at 6:00 PM. Entry Fee is $30. This event is 100% proxy friendly.
Registration will begin at 5:15, with Round 1 beginning at 6:00 Sharp.
The tournament will consist of 4 rounds of swiss, with a payout based on match points. There is no top cut for this event.
1st Place: $500 Cash - If multiple players are tied for first in match points, those players will split the cash.
Remaining prize will be given in store credit to the rest of the Top 4 players based on attendance (Top 10 with 32+ players), to be used at the 504 MTG retail booth at this event, or our booth at The Boil.
Tournament Details
-Games consist of 4-player pods playing Commander, following the Commander ban list.
-Wins award 5 match points, Losses 0 points, Draws 1 point
-Rounds have an 80 minute time limit, with a 20 minute overtime on the final turn. After 80 minutes, if the turn ends or the 20 minute overtime expires, the game ends.
-This tournament adheres to the Multiplayer Tournament Addendum
-Each round has a maximum of two 3-player pods OR one bye, based on player count.
-You must have a TopDeck.gg account to compete in this event.
This event is proxy friendly. Please see the FAQ for the full Proxy Policy. You will need to use "test cards" that are in color and utilize recognizable art or MDFC placeholder cards that are clearly written on. MDFC cards will require full text, mana cost, card type(s) and name. If you choose to use MDFCs, you are limited to only 10 MDFC proxies. Additionally, you will need a print out of the cards to reference on the side. You will not be allowed to slip printed pieces of paper in front of a magic card.
