Event Details
This event will be Gold, Plat, or Diamond dependent upon player entries. The Prize pool has been designed to reward players for showing up and helping us reach 250 players, as DIAMOND is the ultimate goal!
This event will be held at the Decatur Convention Center at 4191 W US Highway 36
This event will take place on January 10th and 11th, 2026 with day ONE beginning at 10 AM. We will be playing rounds based on attendance, starting with up to 6 rounds on Saturday, and then finishing the rest of swiss plus top 16 cut on Sunday.
The entry fee for this tournament will be 100$, which will be payable on PayPal, on any form of card, or in cash!
Players will be competing for their share of 10,000 US DOLLARS. IF 200 players are met, an extra 2,000 USD will be added to the prize pool. If 350 players are met, 4000 ADDITIONAL USD will be added to the prize pool, bringing the event to a TOTAL OF 16,000 USD. Finally, if we hit 475 players there will be a final 4000 ADDITIONAL USD added to the prize pool, making this event a 20K!
DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER THAT MAY OCCUR IN THE MIDWEST DURING JANUARY PRIZING WILL NOT BE 100% GUARANTEED UNTIL THERE IS 120 ENTRIES. EVERY PLAYER ENTRy, STARTING AT 20 PLAYERS UNTIL 120 WILL ADD 100 USD TO THE PRIZE POOL UNTIL 120 IS MET.
I do not wish to have to implement this policy, but due to potential weather it must happen. I feel as if this is a fair solution!

120-200 players, 10K CASH, at 100 it becomes PLAT
1st place: $3400
2nd - 4th: $1,000 each
5th - 16th: $300 each
201-249 players, 12K CASH
1st place: $3,900
2nd - 4th: $1,100 each
5th - 16th: $400 each
250+ Players, 20K CASH
1st place: $6,400
2nd - 4th: $2,000 each
5th - 16th: $500 each
17-32th: $100 each

1 PM: TOP 16 assuming 8 rounds of play took place.
RULES
This event will be proxy friendly. You will need to use "test cards" that are in color and utilize recognizable art or MDFC placeholder cards that are clearly written on. MDFC cards will require full text, mana cost, card type(s) and name. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT PROXIES ARE 100% UNIFORM WITH THE REST OF THE DECK. You WILL NOT be allowed to slip printed pieces of paper in front of a magic card.
This event will use the most current REL Competitive rules and Multiplayer Commander Banlist, will follow MTR Addendum and will be ran at COMPETITIVE RULES ENFORCEMENT.
Decklists MUST be submitted PRIOR to the start of ROUND ONE.
Vendor: There will be vendor(s) on site all day, buying, selling and trading!
