Note: 2nd and 3rd place prizes are based on maximum attendance. They may decrease if player count is lower.

RULES AND PROXIES: Games will be overseen by an official MTG judge. Proxies will be allowed, however, you cannot have more than 10 per deck. All decks with proxies MUST be sleeved.

REGISTRATION: Must be completed on TopDeck and WPN, and paid for on TopDeck PRIOR to the event. No refunds if you are unable to attend. The event will only take place if at least 16 players sign up, otherwise it will be moved to a later date. If this occurs, you can either keep your registration or request a refund if the new date does not work for you.

RULES, STRUCTURE, AND POINTS SYSTEM:

  1. Round Duration Each round will be 75 minutes. In the case of the game going into turns, each player will get 1 more turn.

  2. Points Calculation When playing in a pod, players are awarded points based on the following:

  • First to be knocked out gets 0pts
  • Second to be knocked out gets 1pts
  • Last to be knocked out gets 2pts
  • Winner gets 3pts
  1. Points Calculation For Multiple Player Knockout
  • If 3 players get knocked out, the remaining points will be divided amongst the defeated. 0+1+2=3 divided by 3 people. Each one gets 1pt.
  • If 1 got knocked out before the remaining 2 got removed then 1+2=3 divided by 2 rounded up. They get 2pt each.
  1. Points Calculation For A Draw
  • Each Player will get 1pts with a warning to the player if intentionally prolonging the game. (Taking too long on turns, playing spite, intentional stalling etc...)
  1. Points Calculation For Pods of 3 When playing in a pod of 3, players are awarded points based on the following:
  • First to be knocked out gets 1pts
  • Last to be knocked out gets 2pts
  • Winner gets 3pts
  1. Number of Rounds The event will take place over four or more rounds depending on player turnout.

  2. Player Pairings Players in the first round will be paired randomly. After the first round is done, players will be paired with opponents equal to their current points.
