INFORMATION:

• Number of swiss rounds and top cut will be based off player count.
• Swiss rounds will be 70 minutes long with 15 minute extension on active player (active player has up to 15 minutes to finish their final turn. If no winner decided, result is a draw), followed by top cuts.
• Top cut rounds will be 90 minutes long. If no winner by end of time extension, player highest in tournament standings is declared winner.
  • No breaks or intermission between rounds. The next round will begin shortly after the conclusion of the final game of the previous round.
• We are following the current structure of wins at 5 points, draws at 1 point.
• We are utilizing three man pods to low standings, no byes.
• Cash Prize Support: $10k guaranteed, scaling up to $20k in cash prizes. View below.
• Early Entry fee is $116.91 ($110 for entry, $6.91 for processing fees).
  • Entry fee increased to $132.78 ($125 for entry, $7.78 for processing fees) on August 22nd at 11:59pm EST
  • $10 from every Entry Fee is added to Land Go Invitational Prize Pool

• Decklists must be submitted no later than 30mins before event begins. Failure to do so may incur a penalty.

REDEMPTION EVENT

• $30 to enter event
• 3 Rounds, no Top Cut
• Every win a player earns, they receive $30
• If a player goes 3-0-0 in the event, they will receive a free event playmat.
• Round time is same as swiss, 70mins with 15min extension on active player. If time is called, round declared as a draw.
• Begins same time as first round of Top Cut

What rules/banlist are we using?

• This event will use the most current REL Competitive rules (found here) and the Multiplayer Commander Banlist (found here).

What is the proxy policy for for this event?

• This event will be Playtest cards and Printed Proxy friendly.
• You may use as many "Playtest cards or Printed Proxies" as needed that are in color and utilize recognizable official Magic art (All art on Scryfall) as an alternative or MDFC placeholder cards that are clearly written on.
• These cards must have non-Magic backs. Players must use dark sleeves or smoke inner sleeves to avoid marked cards.
• MDFC cards require full text, mana cost, card type(s), and name.
• If you choose to use MDFCs, you are limited to only 10 MDFC cards. Additionally, you will need a printout of the cards to reference on the side.
• You may use Magic 30th Anniversary cards, Collector’s Edition cards, International Edition, and World Championship Deck cards.

Are alters allowed?

• All alters must be approved before the start of the event by our head judge. The head judge will be available the day of the event to inspect alters for approval.

How many players & rounds? What's the prizing structure?

Swiss rounds at 70mins each w/ 15min timer on active player. Top Cut rounds at 90mins, no extension.

16-160 Player Round Structure

• 16-160 players: 7 rounds of Swiss, Top 16 cut

161-200 Player Round Structure

• 161-200 players: 7 rounds of Swiss, Top 40 cut

256 Player Round Structure

• 201-256 players: 8 rounds of Swiss, Top 64 cut

16-160 Player Prize Support (10k in cash prizes)

1. 1st place: $3700
2. 2nd-4th place: $1000 ea.
3. 5th-16th place: $275 ea.

161-215 Player Prize Support (15k in cash prizes)

1. 1st place: $4800
2. 2nd-4th place: $1800 ea.

• You agree to your games being streamed by tournament staff for the feature event.
• You must be 18 years or older to play.
• You accept that our judge staff may disqualify you without monetary compensation at their discretion.
• Event may be refunded 100% up to two weeks prior to event date. After September 26th, 12:00a.m. EST, no refund will be provided. This is to help ensure a well-run event for all players.
