Event Information

RBET Paris is a 2-Day IRL Edison Format Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament hosted by E3 Yu-Gi-Oh & @huyga
This event is 9 Rounds of Swiss and will cut to Top 16 on the second day of competition.
This event will take place at EPITA 14-16 Rue Voltaire, 94270 Le Kremlin-Bicetre France The €42 Euro payment is for the Main Event at RBET. €2 of the €42 will be going towards PayPal processing fees.
This event is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Side events that take place during the RBET will be separate expenses, and have separate prizing/structures than what is listed for the main event.
During the main event, 8-player on-demand side events will fire beginning after round 3 of the main event.
There will be a larger side event on the second day of competition that will have its own separate topdeck.gg listing (more info TBA).

Key transport options

Closest Metro stations (Paris):
Metro Line 14 - Maison Blanche - about 15 min walk
Metro Line 7 – Le Kremlin-Bicêtre — about a 6–7 min walk to EPITA.
Metro Line 7 – Porte d’Italie — about an 8–9 min walk.

Bus stops near EPITA:

Bus stop “Roger Salengro – Fontainebleau” (several lines stop here: 47, 125, 131, 185, 186) — about a 3–4 min walk to the school.

Tram:

Tram Line T3a stops at Porte d’Italie (then it’s about 8–10 min walk).

Rules

The time rules for RBET Paris will be 45 minutes with higher life total winning the game at end of phase when time is called.
The following cards will be ruled differently from edisonformat.com:

1. Mind Crush: The opponent of the player activating Mind Crush will reveal hand on resolution unless all legal copies of the declared card are accounted for.
2. Royal Tribute: Both players will reveal their hand on resolution to verify that there are no monsters present.
3. Evil Hero Dark Gaia: The effect to switch monsters to attack position on attack will be ruled as Optional.
4. Tragoedia: Tragoedia cannot be special summoned if battle damage is taken from a battle involving Fossil Dyna, Consecrated Light, Koa'ki Meiru Drago, Vanity's Fiend, Archlord Kristya, or any comparable effects such as the various barrier statues etc.

OCG & Asian-English cards are FULLY Legal for this Event provided that they are properly sleeved.
Make sure your cards are sleeved in non-translucent sleeves and double sleeved as well. If you are still uncertain, verify with a judge that your cards cannot be deemed as marked before the beginning of the event.

All Card prizing is Lightly Played or Better condition and will be English Language.

Top Cut & Champion Mats will be Hand-Made 2-player high-quality poly-fiber material (similar to spellground, but not affiliated with spellground)

Schedule

Check-in for the RBET Main Event will begin at 9AM on Saturday. It is recommended to be on time or early.
Round 1 for the RBET Main Event will begin at 10AM on Saturday.
9 Rounds of Swiss will be played on Saturday.
Top 16 Check-in and Deck Checks will take place at 9AM on Sunday. It is mandatory to be on time or penalties will be given.
Top 16 will begin play at 10AM or upon completion of the deck checks.

8-Man on demand Side events will begin after round 3 of the Main Event. We will begin sign-ups for these after round 2 of the main event. These have a separate cost from the main event and will be priced at €15 Entry for a Win-A-Mat.
A larger side event for Sunday will be announced at a later time. The larger side event will have a separate topdeck.gg registration page.
