Portals x WintuitionMTG Commander pre-con League! (Sept)

Hello everyone, the WintuitionMTG x Portals Commander Pre-con League will run in one month long cycles! On the first Sunday after each league the top ten highest ranking players will play in a one day mini event for prizes at the Easton store!

Event Information:

• This event will be run out of the Portals discord and the three Portals Games and Comics stores. You can play games in person at any of the stores or over webcam!
• This event does not happen during set days or times and you can create and play league pods anytime you have 4 players using the discord bot or the topdeck.gg phone app! (I'd recommend the discord bot)
• This also lets you choose who you want to play with/against if you want to play with anyone specifically or avoid anyone playing decks you dislike! However playing against different players is better for earning points since you take points from the people you play against if you win!
• So everyone knows, the Salisbury Portals has commander Fridays and Sundays, the Easton Portals has commander on Tuesdays and Fridays, and the Kent Island Portals has commander on Monday and Friday!
• You can play against players from other stores at anytime via webcam using the website convoke.gg and the discord voice channels! The topdeck.gg bot in the discord will create a link to a lobby for you to use just make sure that you post that you are looking for a webcam game in the discord chat along side making a pod!
• I will have zero tolerance for cheating and will take any reports of it seriously. This is meant to be for fun at the end of the day so lets keep that in mind!
• For the top cut event the first and second highest ranked players automatically move into the finals pod and the other 8 play for the remaining two seats!

Rules

• Every official pre-con is legal to play except for the Mystic Intellect & Political Puppets decks! This is due to them containing banned cards!
• You can use any legendary creature in the deck as a commander as long as it has all of your decks colors!
• You are allowed to purchase and build any of the official pre-con deck lists using singles as long as you follow the official deck list! (this is cheaper than buying a sealed copy of some ub/older decks!) You can find the deck list of any pre-con by googling its name + moxfield!
• You have to play at least 4 games to show up on the leaderboard!
• Any player may request a decklist check of any other players deck post game if they would like to and INFRACTRIONS WILL BE MET WITH A SINGLE WARNING FOLLOWED BY DISQUALIFICATION!
• YOU MAY ONLY CONCEDE AT SORCERY SPEED UNLESS YOU HAVE EMERGENCY CIRCUMSTANCES ARISE AND INFRACTRIONS WILL BE MET WITH A SINGLE WARNING FOLLOWED BY DISQUALIFICATION!
• However, players may agree to concede the win to a single player at anytime if the decision is unanimous.
• Proxies are not allowed but you may use alternate arts of cards in your deck lists!
• You can swap decks any time during the league except finals!
• Finals will require deck list submission.
• At the start of each game all players must reveal their commanders at the same time. This is to prevent people picking decks based of other players decks.
• Each player starts with 1000 points as their rank. Then at the start of every game you wager 7% of your total points and the winner takes all the points wagered. If there is a draw 4% the points are destroyed and everyone only gets 3% of the points they wagered back.
• At the start of any game if any player wants, they can ask for an 80 minute timer with a max of 20 minutes of overtime.
• When time is called, the active player finishes their turn, and there are no additional turns. The game ends when the active player passes their turn. If the next active player takes game actions in the end step of the active turn, when time is called or during overtime, the subsequent turn becomes the final one and the next active player is allowed to untap and take their turn until time is up.
• All players may agree to draw the game anytime they wish to do so!

Prizing

• First place will receive at least 125$ in store credit and second through fourth will each receive at least 25$ in store credit!
• This is just the prize money im personally offering (-wyatt). However i will also be using all the money from entry fees to scale up prizing to reward all of top 10!
• I will scale up the prize money as high as entry fees will cover even if it means first place is several hundred dollars! (I am not looking to make a profit off of this)
