The number of Swiss rounds will depend on the number of participating Trainers.

What to Bring Every Trainer should bring:
🎴 A legal 60-card Standard Format deck
🛡️ Card sleeves (highly recommended)
🎲 Dice and damage counters
☠️ Poison/Burn condition markers
🪙 A coin or approved randomizer
📝 A deck list (if requested by the Judge)
Standard Deck Rules
Your deck must:
• Contain exactly 60 cards
• Follow the current Standard Format
• Include no more than four copies of any card with the same name (excluding Basic Energy)
• Be sleeved consistently and in good condition
If you’re unsure whether your deck is Standard legal, speak to Prof. Vas before the tournament begins.
What Trainers CAN Do
✅ Ask the Judge for rulings at any time
✅ Use official Pokémon accessories, dice and counters
✅ Enjoy a fun, friendly and competitive environment
✅ Learn from fellow Trainers and improve your skills
What Trainers CANNOT Do
❌ Use cards that are not Standard legal
❌ Receive coaching during a match
❌ Use marked or distinguishable sleeves
❌ Display unsporting behaviour
❌ Use electronic devices during a match unless instructed by the Judge
Trainer Tips
• Please arrive 15-30 minutes early to complete check-in.
• If you think you’ll be late, please contact Prof. Vas before the tournament starts.
• We highly recommend using 60 identical sleeves (solid colour or official Pokémon sleeves) to protect your deck and make shuffling easier.
• Don’t forget your dice, damage counters, Poison/Burn markers and coin.
• Missing accessories? Contact Prof. Vas before the event and we’ll do our best to help.
