Pokemon Anniversary League Cup

Event Information

The Mana Vault is celebrating 3 years in business! Part of this celebration will include running our first ever League Cup. The format for this event is Standard Constructed.

This competitive event will feature over $1000 in prize support paid out to the Top 8. Everyone who enters will receive a special promo and entry into a raffle for more sweet prizing.

• Start Time: 12:00pm, Doors open and check-in begins at 11am
• Entry: $30
• Structure: Best-of-1 Swiss Rounds, followed by a Best-of-3 Top 8 Cut

Rules

• Decklists are required for entry See the link above to fill it out ahead of time!
• This event will be held to Competitive Level Rules Enforcement

Swiss

• Players will engage in 5-7 Rounds of Swiss (adjusted for attendance)
• Swiss will be played Best-of-One with 30 minute Rounds
• After Swiss, there will be a cut to the Top 8 Players
• ID's are allowed during Swiss

Top 8

• The Top 8 will be played Best-of-Three with a 50-minute time limit
• When time is called, the active competitor will finish their current turn, and +3 turns will be played
• Matches that are unresolved after +3 turns, will play a Tie-Breaker Game

Prizing

In addition to the prizing table below, there will be promos for attendance and a bunch of raffle prizes. 1st & 2nd will also receive Pikachu Winner promos, and 1st will earn the exclusive Charizard X Champion Playmat

• 1st Place:$400
• 2nd Place: $200
• 3rd-4th: $100
• 5th-8th: $50

This prizing will be paid out in Store Credit. Players may also elect to receive 80% of the amount in cash

Schedule

Check-in begins at 11am when the doors open. Round 1 will begin promptly at 12pm, and late arrivals will be handled according to the Tardiness Policy set by TPCI. There will be a short break between Swiss and the Top 8 Cut.
