This event has an entry fee of $120.00 will start promptly with a Player Meeting at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 17th. There will be a player meeting approximately 15 minutes before the event start time, sign ups will end at 8:45AM. Seats will be given on a first come first serve basis. For a full event, prizing will be:
- 1st Place - The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale (NM ENG)
- 2nd Place - Mox Diamond (Stronghold)
- 3rd Place - Mox Diamond (Stronghold)
- 4th Place - Mox Diamond (Stronghold)
- 5th-16th - Prizes will be drafted from a pool of cards valued from $200-$250, based on seed order. (5th place chooses first, 6th place second, etc.)
Draft pool may include - Borderless Foil Chrome Mox, Retro Foil Mox Amber, Beta Dark Ritual, Anime Borderless Foil Llanowar Elves, Galaxy Foil Borderless Steam Vents, Mox Opal, Deckmasters Foil Necropotence, Yawgmoth's Will, Set of 5 MH2 Retro Foil Etched Fetchlands, and many More!
Prizing is subject to change based on the number of participants.
The finals pod will be offered the option the decline the prizing and split for store credit/ cash before playing their final game. The value of these splits will be determined the day of, as card values fluctuate rapidly. The decision to split must be unanimous, if any player wants to play for the prizing the pod is required to play the final match. Prizing buyback will be offered at the end of the event. We also pick up tons of singles all the time and are always actively looking for more singles for the prize pool, there may even be singles in stock that we've picked up the day of! Rules
- Rounds: 80 minute Swiss rounds based on attendance. If a round goes into overtime, the active player will have 20 minutes to finish their turn. After 20 minutes, if no player has won, there will be a complete clearance of the stack and the game will be considered a draw. Single Elimination rounds in the semi-finals & finals will be timed with 120 minute rounds.
- Proxies are 100% allowed! High quality, colored printings are encouraged. The proxies must represent the card in a fair and accurate way and must have all text on the card clearly able to be read. Placeholder cards are allowed.
- During a multiplayer game, players are encouraged to concede while they have priority, and the stack is empty on their own turn. A player who needs to concede at any other time will be dropped from the event and must talk to a tournament organizer in order to re-enter. In this case, a judge will facilitate any mandatory actions of the conceded player until the stack is empty. In the event this happens in response to combat, the turn will be facilitated until the end of combat.
- No 3 or 5 Player Pods (Byes will be allowed)
- At 16 Players - 2 rounds of single elimination play.
- At 17-34 Players - 3 rounds, cut to top 4
- At 35-64 Players - 4 rounds, cut to top 10. Top 2 seeded players will automatically be moved to the final pod in their respective seat position.
- At 65-128 Players - 5 rounds, cut to top 16.
- Decklist submissions will not be editable once submitted so please wait until your list is final to submit.
This event will be held at Competitive Rules Enforcement Level, and all players are expected to be versed on the Comp REL rules for Commander. All players Must have their deck lists submitted to TopDeck by the time the event starts, if you are not ready to start when the timer starts then you will have 5 minutes to get ready and if you are not ready then you will receive a round 1 loss.
To submit a deck list to TopDeck, you must make an account and register for the event. To register for the event, you search it in the event bar and click the blue register button. Once you've registered, another blue button will appear for you to submit your deck list. We recommend you put your deck list into Moxfield, then copy/paste the url into the text box it provides for you for registration. 7:00 AM - Venue Opens.
9:00 AM - Player's Meeting with the Judge.
9:15 AM - Start of Round 1
Players will be encouraged to get food when they are able to throughout the event. There will be convention-level concessions at the event and there are plenty of fast food options nearby. We are unlikely to be able to take a meal break so please plan accordingly.
