Naus am Rathaus — Tournament Rules & Event Structure
Welcome to Naus am Rathaus, a Competitive Elder Dragon Highlander (cEDH) tournament hosted in the Tableflip LGS in Augsburg Göggingen bringing together competitive Commander players for a full day of high-level multiplayer Magic.
Players will compete through Swiss rounds followed by a Top Cut playoff to determine the tournament champion.

Format
Format: Competitive EDH (Commander)
100-card singleton decks

Tournament Structure
Swiss Rounds
Swiss rounds will be played in multiplayer pods.
Tournament structure:
Up to 16 players → 3 Swiss rounds
17–32 players → 4 Swiss rounds
33–64 players → 5 Swiss rounds
Pods may contain 3 or 4 players depending on attendance and tournament logistics.
Each round lasts:
75 minutes
Followed by a potential overtime period of 15 minutes
At the end of overtime:
The active player finishes their turn
If no winner is determined, the match is recorded as a draw
Pods are randomly assigned for Round 1. Future rounds use point-based pairings.

Intentional Draws are permitted and must be chosen unanimously among the players that currently did not lose the match yet.
Concessions
Concessions are permitted at any time, although we recommend to concede at sorcery speed to not interfere with other players (aka no spite scooping to stop a Jeska's Will or Intuition target, Tivit triggers etc.)
Bribery, collusion, prize negotiation during active matches, prize splits, or attempts to intentionally manipulate standings are strictly prohibited.
Top Cut
Depending on attendance:
8–32 players → Top 4 Final
33+ players → Top 16 playoff pods
Top Cut rounds are single elimination.
The final pod determines the tournament winner.

Players must submit:
Full decklist
Commander(s)
Sideboards (if using Companion or Sticker deck mechanics)
Decklists must match the submitted list for the entirety of the event.

Judges and tournament organizers have final authority on rulings.
Players are expected to:
Maintain clear game states
Announce triggers properly
Communicate clearly
Play at a reasonable pace
Slow play, stalling, or unsporting behavior will not be tolerated.
Proxy Policy
100% Proxy Friendly
This event is proxy friendly to encourage accessibility and competitive diversity.
Proxy requirements:
Clearly readable
Correct card name
Original Wizards of the Coast artwork
Easily identifiable during gameplay
No marked cards
The Head Judge may reject unclear proxies.
The deck has to be fully double sleeved.
Sportsmanship
Competitive play is expected, but respectful behavior is mandatory.
Harassment, cheating, theft, discrimination, or abusive conduct will result in removal from the event.
Play to win. Respect the pod.
Last but not least: The Prizing
The exact prize is to be determined due to highly depending on attendance
With 32 players attending the first place will get an invitational ticket to the European Championship in Birmingham.
Thanks to our friends from the Nationals, this is part of the German cEDH circuit, which means, at 16+ players the points you get here count towards the circuit.
