Event Details

Join us as we celebrate our 1st ever MindBreak Magic event, hosted at Tricky's Cards & Games! We will cap at 32 players for this event. There will be a minimum of 4 Swiss rounds, with a cut to the Top 10.

Cost is $15 to enter. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN AFTER MARCH 10th.

Rules

Completely Proxy Friendly. Must use recognizable art IN FULL COLOR ON CARDSTOCK THAT IS CONSISTANT WITH MTG CARDS - cards must not be marked. PAPER PROXIES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. Deck checks will shuffle your deck upon inspection.

We are complying with MTR/IPG Addendum for Commander Events. In addition, we are adding rules for Red Time.

• In swiss, the final turn has a maximum of 20 minutes to be completed, after which the game ends on the spot as a draw to time. This time takes place after any judge extensions, in which turns may pass normally.
• Top Cut games will have a hard 150 minute timer (2.5 hours), after which the highest seeded player left in the game is named the winner.

Prizing

As a TopDeck Bronze event, the winner of the event shall receive 45 points towards the leaderboard, 2nd - 4th place will get 20 points.

If the event fires with 30+ players, the event will be upgraded to Silver, allowing the winner of the event shall receive 130 points, 2nd - 4th place will get 80 points, and 5th - 16th place will get 15 points.

Cash prizing awarded to Top 4.

• 1st place receives $120 and a MindBreak playmat.
• 2nd place receives $80.
• 3rd and 4th place receives $40 each.

(Additional prizing may be provided by Tricky's Cards & Games upon their discretion.)

• Rounds will begin at 12:00pm.
• Please plan to be at the store by 11:30am for registration and deck checks.
• Player Meeting will happen at 11:50am.
• Decklists required to be submitted before Player Meeting.
