Hello everyone wanting to play 2HG!
As you heard, every 2HG will have a different theme to build your decks around. I'm hoping to incite some creativity in your deck building with my suggestions!
The first theme will be:
"Man's Best Friend"
One Player must have a Humanoid (looks like a person) as a commander and the other playerust play a commander that is anything but a person. A dog, dragon, beast, Emrakul... anything that doesn't look like a person in any way. So, if you want to run a human and a merfolk , that would be two humanoids.
Other than that, so that the tournament is accessible and welcoming of most players, the bracket will be 3 and:
• No 2 card infinite combos at all, even after turn 6. • No chaining extra turns. •Up to 3 Game Changers allowed. • No Reserve List Cards • Proxy Friendly! (As long as it's able to be read easily)
This should help people who don't have access to certain cards feel welcome. This is a more casual tournament and it should feel like it. If anyone has any questions, feel free to send an email to the contact email.
