Lands for Days Legacy event will be up to a 10k event! This means the more people that sign up the more we give away! We are starting things of by giving top 8 one of every dual land with first and 2nd getting 2 of thier choice. Entry for this event will be $120, $20 will be going towards the convention center and the $100 will be going towards prize support and judges. This will be proxy friendly event. Refunds will be availbe until 48hrs from decklist submision deadline. Entry will be $120 There will be 7 rounds of swiss.
Each round will be be 50 minutes in length.
After time in round is called active player will finish their turn and there will be 5 additional turns there after. If there is no clear winner the game will result in a draw.
Wins are worth 3 points Draws are worth 1 point.
After swiss there will be a cut to top 8 based on points awarded during the swiss then top 4 and finally the last 2 standing.
This tournament will utilize the Competitive MTR/IPG Addendum and will be held to Comp REL standards.
This tournament will utilize Command Tower for the pairing software and determining turn order.
Byes that are awarded due to awkward pairings will be considered a win and worth 3 points.
Prizing: 1st - 2 dual lands 2nd 2 dual lands 3rd - 8th 1 dual land
Proxies: Proxies must be indistinguishable from the other cards as parts of your library while sleeved. (Ideally you should not be able to tell by the sleeve openings or thickness which cards are proxies and which are not). There are 5 colors to the MTG color wheel plus colorless artifacts and lands as well as multi-colored cards. The Proxy prints you choose to use must reflect these differences in color. (IE no blue lightning bolts, or black and white multi-colored cards). All proxies must contain appropriate text, names, card types, mana cost, colors, power and toughness, loyalty, etc. It must be readily apparent what these proxies represent, so our boardstates are not misrepresented or lost to confusion. Proxies must be legible prints. Please no hand-written proxies in your decks. Everyone must be able to readily recognize the cards for what they represent and read the words on them.
