Circuit Information
Welcome to the Forbes Hobbies Mox Qualifier Circuit!
Over the course of the year, we'll be hosting monthly tournaments that will feed a year-end "Top 24" tournament where the winner wins a Mox Diamond, along with other prizing for top finishers.
Structure & Rules
The Top 24 tournament spots will be determined as follows:
- Qualifying tournament winners will recieve a guarenteed spot in the top 24
- The remaining spots will go to the top qualifier point earners:
* 16 qualifier points are awarded to the event winner
* 10 qualifier points are awarded to 2nd through 4th
* 6 qualifier points are awarded to 5th through 10th
- If someone wins multiple qualifiers, the extra spots are passed on to the next top qualifier point earner. In short, you can't take up multiple spots by winning multiple tournaments
- Additionally, the person who wins the most qualifiers will recieve a bye in round one of the Invitational tournament! In the case of a tie, we will defer to tiebreakers
- Tiebreakers are: Tournament wins, round wins, swiss point percentage over the year (points earned / possible points), then a coin flip
Prizing
The winner of the Invitational will walk home with a Mox Diamond! Prizing for the rest of the top finishers is still TBD.
