Come join Cards and Coasters first ever League! Join in with others and compete in an 8 week season to see who can come out on top the most, and see who's taking home the prize at the end!
Pick a commander for the season, and stick with it. The decklist is to be submitted at the sign up for the league, however deck checks will only be implemented if necessary. Deck list is allowed to change, however the commander must remain the same for the length of the league.
No proxies allowed
Scooping to your opponents to seat yourself at a lower table will not be tolerated. If repeated scooping is noticed, you will be watched and potentially forfeit your entire day for your points towards the league.
Draws are also not allowed, unless dictated by the head judge of the event. If there is an issue at the table where a draw is necessary, the judge will make the call and negate the points for the table for that round.
Any colluding will not be tolerated, politics are allowed at the table, but blatant team up, especially in a way to remove someone from the standings in their points, will be judged upon. Repeated events will be reviewed, and consequences will vary depending on severity.
No fighting, any aggression will be an automatic ejection from the entire league, if there is an issue, come get a judge before it escalates.
Rules are subject to change every week until we come up with a baseline, and we are open to suggestions the entire way.
3 rounds, 72 minutes for each round with 20 minutes of overtime or 5 turns, whichever happens first. If overtime finishes, it will be considered a draw for the league. Life totals will be taken to help seat you at the other tables for the other rounds, if there is another one.
All entry will be put into a pool, and total amount will be determined on total players. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th will be eligible for prizes at the end of the league.
