Charity - Last year the BCDL community helped my wife raise money for Cystic Fibrosis research. The BCDL community helped make a generous donation of $2,000 possible last year. This year we're raising money to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). AFSP recognizes that the trauma, loss, bias, disparities, and other unique challenges that certain populations continue to face can contribute to risk for suicide. AFSP is dedicated to breaking down these barriers and inequities and to addressing the specific needs of these communities and populations in the development of policy solutions. These solutions aim to reduce suicidal thoughts, prevent suicide attempts and deaths, promote healing, and provide care and support for those who have lost loved ones to suicide. You can find more information about the AFSP's work on their website at https://afsp.org/.

To support AFSP we'll be doing another raffle all weekend with great prizes. Prizes will be drawn on Sunday afternoon. You do not need to be present to win. Prizes will be announced at a later date closer to the event. If you're interested in donating prizes to this great cause please reach out to me by email at [email protected].

Signup - Signup will be exclusively through Topdeck.gg at the link below. The tournament will be capped at 124 players.

Playtest card policy – Printed pieces of paper slipped inside card sleeves are permitted to be used as playtest cards. Gold bordered cards are also allowed. Players may use any number of playtest cards for this event. All playtest cards must have full art and text. Hand drawn cards will not be permitted.

Players are also welcome to borrow cards from the BCDL Playtest Library. A form to borrow cards from the BCDL Playtest Library will be made available closer to the event. All Playtest cards must be indistinguishable from authentic cards. Judges will be available to check any playtest cards and decks prior to tournament start.

Cards currently available in the BCDL Playtest Library include: 1) Savannah; 2) Underground Sea; 3) Tropical Island; 4) Volcanic Island; 5) Tundra; 6) Plateau; 7) Scrubland; 8) Taiga; 9) Bayou; 10) Badlands; 11) Gaea’s Cradle; 12) Lion’s Eye Diamond; 13) Grim Monolith; 14) Force of Will; 15) Null Rod; 16) Mox Diamond; 17) The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale; 18) City of Traitors; 19) Intuition; 20) Aluren; 21) Personal Tutor; 22) Chains of Mephistopheles; and 23) The Abyss. If you’re interested in a card not on this list let me know and I’ll get playtest copies for you to use. Tournament Administration - Pairings, decklists, and match results through Topdeck.gg.

Any playtest cards, homemade, from the BCDL Library, or gold bordered must be in fully opaque sleeves. There will be judges on hand for all of your questions regarding rulings, playtest cards, and anything else that may be required.

Side Events – Currently we have no side events planned, but this could change closer to the event or day of if there is enough demand. I've been told the Warp Gate has vintage sealed boxes for flashback drafts and extra dual lands for possible 8 player "winner take all" for a Revised dual land.

Hotel – There is no current hotel block, but that could change with enough interest. I would recommend looking for a hotel near downtown Columbus, Bridge Park Dublin, or near Ohio State University. All of these areas are within 15 minutes of the venue.
