The number of rounds will be based on the number of participants. Round One will begin at 11 A.M. After opening announcements. Each round will be 80 minutes, with a 15 minute overtime. When time is called, the active player will finish their turn and the game will end. If 15 minutes elapse the game automatically ends in a draw. This event will be run with Point Wager, e.g. Japanese ELO system. Players start with 1000 points, take 7% of their opponents points on a win, everyone loses 4% on a draw. Byes will receive no points but can't lose any!

Top Cut: After the Swiss rounds, we will proceed to the Top Cut. These round(s) will be single elimination. The number of pods in Top Cut will be determined by attendance. Each of the top cut pods will be untimed individually but will have a time limit of 4 hours to complete all Top Cut Games.

Proxies are allowed with no limit. Printer paper in front of cards are acceptable, but NO Handwritten proxies accepted, and must also have store appropriate art.

The event is competitive rules enforcement. Competitive tournaments usually have significant prizes. Players are expected to know the game’s rules and be familiar with the policies and procedures, but unintentional errors are not punished severely. These are tournaments that protect the interests of all players by providing tournament integrity while also recognizing that not all players are intimately familiar with professional-level tournament structure, proper procedures, and rules. We will be adhering to the Magic: The Gathering Tournament Rules and Magic: The Gathering Infraction Procedure guide supplemented with the Competitive REL MTR/IPG Addendum for Commander events when necessary. If you have any question regarding the rules of competitive rules enforcement levels, have provided links to the MTR, IPG, and CompREL Addendum.
