Monthly cEDH tournament organised by Tees Valley MTG - a playtest-friendly event

Rules

We will be using the cEDH UK addendum for Tournament Rules and Infraction Procedures along with the following rules.

• Playtest cards allowed (full colour and recognisable art)
• 80 minute rounds (without turns)
• 3/4 rounds of Swiss with a top 4/10/16 cut (Swiss round structure and top cut dependent on player count)
• Please post decklist links on TopDeck after registration (required)
• Top cut matches will be timed at 120 minutes - after which the standard end-of-match procedure will be followed

These rules are subject to change before the event and any changes will be made clear during event announcements.

Prizing

Top 4 prizing will be store vouchers for hosting LGS Rising Phoenix Games. Prizing will be announced at the start of the second round - prizing will scale depending on player count. All entry fees, after the cost to provide participation raffle prizes for those not reaching the top 4, to be used as prizing.

Venue Information

Parking

The nearest car park is Captain Cook Square (20 Brentnall St, Middlesbrough TS1 5AP), which is £2.10 for over 3 hours. However, please check any parking signage in case this has changed.

Public Transport

The nearest train station to the venue is Middlesbrough Train Station, which is a 15 minute walk away from the venue.

Hartlepool - bus numbers 1 and 36 are a 10 minute walk away from the venue, alighting at Middlesbrough Bus Station.

Darlington - bus number X66 is a 10 minute walk away from the venue, alighting at Middlesbrough Bus Station. Alternatively, trains run between Darlington and Middlesbrough.

Stockton - bus numbers X10, X12, 36 and 38 are a 10 minute walk away from the venue, alighting at Middlesbrough Bus Station. Alternatively, trains run between Stockton and Middlesbrough.

Middlesbrough - the venue is located close to the town centre so any bus to Middlesbrough Bus Station is a 10 minute walk away from the venue.

Food and Drink

The venue does not allow outside food and drinks. Hot food, drinks and snacks are available from Rising Phoenix Games.

The town centre is a short walk away for other shops and food establishments.
