New Features & Marvel Snap at TopDeck.gg

We're incredibly excited to share a major update as we host the largest Marvel Snap tournament yet this weekend on TopDeck.gg!

The Marvel Snap community has been growing rapidly, and we're thrilled to be supporting them with several brand new, purpose-built features:

Match Chat System

Building upon our recently launched Tournament Chat System, we've now implemented individual chat channels for every match at the tournament. This feature helps players effortlessly coordinate games, discuss strategies, or simply connect with the community.

Automated Round Check-In

We've integrated an intuitive check-in system directly into match chats: sending a message automatically checks players into their rounds. If a player does not communicate within 5 minutes, they automatically receive a match loss. Players who fail to check in for a round entirely will be dropped at the round's conclusion. This dramatically streamlines tournament operations, minimizing administrative headaches and unnecessary judge interventions.

Integrated Judge Call Feature

We've also introduced an easy-to-use Judge Call button directly within matches. If players need assistance or rulings, they can quickly summon a judge. Tournament organizers receive a clear, organized queue of judge calls, enabling efficient triage and resolution. We're planning significant expansions to this feature, including mobile app integrations for judges to swiftly manage time extensions and resolve issues directly from their devices.
