Chat, Leagues & Performance Improvements

We're excited to share several significant improvements that have just been deployed to TopDeck.gg!

Tournament Chat System

Our new tournament chat system makes communication with opponents during online events seamless. You can enable them from the Configuration menu in the tournament dashboard.

• Private Table Chat: Each tournament pairing now has a dedicated chat channel
• Real-Time Messaging: Instant message delivery for smooth communication
• Integrated Experience: Chat directly from the tournament bracket page
• Moderation Tools: Tournament organizers can monitor chats when needed, and users can report messages

This feature is especially valuable for online tournaments, allowing you to easily coordinate with your opponent, discuss match details, or share information about your game.

League Improvements

We've significantly enhanced our league system with:

• Advanced Point Options: All events now support advanced point configuration, giving league organizers more flexibility
• Point Wager Comes to Leagues: Highly requested, point wager mode is now available for leagues
• Improved League Management: Better tools for running and maintaining leagues of all sizes

These improvements make it easier than ever to create and run competitive leagues with customized scoring systems. We have more planned for this down the line, like improved pairing options in leagues.

Standings & Leaderboards Upgrade

We've completely rebuilt how standings and leaderboards render across the platform:

• Custom High-Performance Plugin: We've developed a custom plugin that dramatically improves load times and speeds up searching players
• Player Avatars: Standings now display player avatars for a more personalized experience
• Enhanced Sorting: More flexible and responsive sorting options
• Improved UI: Cleaner, more readable presentation of information

These improvements provide a better experience when viewing tournament standings, league leaderboards, and player rankings.
